Tips for Success

Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia' is a relatively undemanding plant that adapts well to a range of conditions. Higher lighting will bring out richer reddish-brown tones in the foliage. Regular trimming and replanting of tops encourages bushy, compact growth and prevents the lower stems from becoming bare. It responds well to CO₂ and a balanced fertiliser regime, which will noticeably improve growth rate and colour intensity.
