Nomaphyla stricta is a great medium growing, freshwater plant that does well from low light to high light tanks. If the plant is placed under highlight, the leaves will take on a reddish colour as seen in the picture to the left. As with many aquatic plants the stronger the light, the shorter the plants will stay. In low light tanks, aquatic plants tend to grow towards the light which produces taller plants. They grow very similar to Green Temple but with more narrow leaves. Requires medium-high light.
